One wing, Basse-Terre, called by by the ancient Caribbean tribe Karukera “The island of beautiful water” is mountainous and volcanic, rich with forests, rivers and waterfalls. The other wing – Grande-Terre – often called the little Brittany of the Antilles because of its abrupt cliffs that resemble those of the Breton peninsula.

Today our destination is Les Saintes, a small archipelago consisting of pristine islands, of which only two are inhabited – Terre de Haut and Terre de Bas.
